Former African Footballer of the year, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly agreed in principles to move to Premier League side Arsenal.

According to reports via Enisports, Dortmund have demanded that any deal that will take the Gabonese away from the Signal Iduna Park should also see Giroud arrive from Arsenal.

However, it appears things are straightening up between Aubameyang and Arsenal but will have to wait upon Dortmund’s response to see if there will be a concrete agreement between the two club sides.

Frenchman Giroud is looking at a chance of making France squad to the 2018 World Cup taking place in Russia but his current situation at Arsenal which has seen him fall down the pecking order cannot guarantee that.

A need to move away from under Arsene Wenger and go to a place where he can earn a regular shirt becomes pressing for him and his French manager who has preferred the choice of Alexander Lacazette who arrived from AS Monaco earlier in the summer.

However, reports are now claiming that French-born Aubameyang have agreed in principles to move to England as he continues to straighten up a frozen relationship that has festered on between him and Dortmund hierarchy including the coach Peter Bosz.

It is reported that Arsenal are believed to have agreed on a deal in the region of £53m for the former AC Milan hitman who has caught the eye of a number of other European heavyweights in recent time.

Arsenal are set to lose another of their attacking force in Manchester United-bound Alexis Sanchez having initially seen Theo Walcott depart for Everton for £20m.

Another of their forward in Mesut Ozil is also threatening to leave the club and a need for an ideal replacement becomes necessary for Wenger as he struggles to break into the top four of the English top flight for the second time into two years.

Arsenal currently sits sixth on the table with 39 points from as many EPL games, 22 points adrift runaway leaders Manchester City and five behind fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur.
