Nigeria’s Falconets took a step closer to booking their ticket for the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after an impressive 2-0 win against South Africa’s Basetsana in the first-leg of the final qualifying round.
First half goals from Rasheedat Ajibade (30′) and Anam Imo (35′) secured victory for Christopher Danjuma’s side inside the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
