Nigeria Stun South Africa in World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria’s Falconets took a step closer to booking their ticket for the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after an impressive 2-0 win against South Africa’s Basetsana in the first-leg of the final qualifying round.

First half goals from Rasheedat Ajibade (30′) and Anam Imo (35′) secured victory for Christopher Danjuma’s side inside the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The second leg comes up 26 January in Nigeria.
