Nwakaeme wants tough group for Eagles to avoid complacency

Super Eagles and Hapoel Beer Sheva of Israel striker, Anthony Nwakaeme has stated that Nigeria will be ready to face any opposition ahead of today’s world cup draws in Russia.

Nwakaeme spoke on his preference for a tough group draw ahead of the World Cup in an exclusive interview with brila.net.

The 28-year-old striker added that a soft world cup group would engender complacency while a seemingly tough group would only task the players to give their best once again from the word go.

“I think I would love Nigeria in a tough group, I mean drawn with top teams”, This will task us (Players) to give the best we can,” Nwakaeme told brila.net
