Wilfred Ndidi and his Leicester City teammate Kelechi Iheanacho were powerless against the might of Pep Guardiola’s rampaging Manchester City team on Saturday.
Ndidi started in the heart of the Foxes’ midfield while, Iheanacho was a second half substitute, replacing Mark Albrighton on 67 minutes.
However, despite their best efforts including a crack at goal by Ndidi, it was the league leaders who ended up with three points from the King Power Stadium.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne in either half condemned Claudio Puel to his first defeat in charge of the Foxes.
