Playing Argentina will be like sitting in a classroom for the Super Eagles as the team stands to gain more and learn from such matches according to Ex Player and Coach of Sunshine Stars Duke Udi.
Duke Udi also hyped up the importance of the friendly for Eagles against Argentina, suggesting that the game could potentially propel the team to a higher level.
‘Playing against Argentina is a big deal. It’s a grade A match and we’ll learn a lot from them and be playing against them.
‘To be the best you have to play the best. Nigeria has proved over time that we are a crack team against the likes of Argentina,’ the Ex-Eagles midfielder enthused.
Nigeria will play Algeria albeit in a dead rubber 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on 11 November before the Super Eagles face Argentina three days later.
Meanwhile, The Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr has also revealed that he could introduce as many as six new players in his starting line up when they take on Algeria on Friday.
Nigeria is up against Algeria in a dead rubber World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie on Friday, and according to Rohr, he would use the game to test some fringe players in his team.
” All the games are important, it’s right we have already qualified for the World Cup, so the result is not the most important, the most important in this game will be to play a good game”, the German said in an interview posted on the official twitter handle of the Super Eagles.
” We always play to make good games and good results, but it’s an opportunity for us to see some players who didn’t play so much during the qualifiers because we have our team, and now we have six injuries, so it will be at least six changes”.
