Manager Antonio Conte said he hopes to have Victor Moses back in action soon after the wing-back pulled an hamstring in Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat to struggling Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Moses, 26, was forced off in the first half at Selhurst Park against his former club in a game the EPL champions eventually lost.
Clutching his thigh, the Nigeria International only played 40 minutes against The Eagles, and now he faces a spell on the sidelines.
The former Crystal Palace winger was replaced by summer signing Davide Zappacosta with five minutes remaining in the first half
Conte confirmed Victor Moses will miss Wednesday’s Champions League home match against AS Roma and will undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury.

“I think in this moment for us it is a very difficult moment. When you start the game without Morata and Kante it is not simple,” Conte said in his post-match comments.
“Then another important player gets an injury like Moses. I hope to have him very soon, in this moment it is very difficult for us. We lose three or four players and it is a big problem for us. ”
Conte added : “For sure Moses, I don’t know if his injury is a serious injury. Drinkwater is still out. I hope to have Morata back.”
Moses made his eighth appearance of the season in all competitions against Crystal Palace.
