The dates for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations have been officially according CAF sources.
AFCON 2027 will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, marking the first time in history that three East African nations will co host the tournament.
On Tuesday, Brila.net gathered that the 36th edition of the tournament will run from June 19 to July 18.

Preparations are already underway across the three countries as they gear up to welcome the continent.
Kenya recently announced that it has fulfilled all obligations required to stage the tournament.
The country has proposed the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani and the Talanta Sports City as its venues.
On its part, Tanzania has put forward the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, the Samia Suluhu Stadium in Arusha, as well as the Fumba and Amaan stadiums.
Uganda’s proposed venues include the Hoima City Stadium, the Mandela National Stadium, and the Akii Bua Stadium in Lira.
The 2027 edition will feature 24 teams competing for the title.
It also marks the return of the tournament to East Africa for the first time since Ethiopia hosted the competition in 1976.
Historically, East African teams have had limited success in the tournament.

Ethiopia remains the last country from the region to win the title, achieving the feat on home soil in 1962 with a 4 to 2 victory over Egypt in the final.
Sudan also enjoyed success as hosts in 1970, defeating Ghana 1 to 0 to lift the trophy.
The 2027 AFCON is expected to showcase the growth of football infrastructure in East Africa while providing an opportunity for the region to reassert itself on the continental stage.
