The Super Eagles will play two high-profile friendly matches scheduled for June.
Nigeria will first face Poland on June 3 and the encounter will take place at the PGE Narodowy in the country’s capital, Warsaw.
The second fixture will see Nigeria take on Portugal on June 10 in Portugal, with the venue yet to be announced.
The match will serve as Portugal’s final game before they depart for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, set to be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Nigeria heads into these fixtures on the back of two friendly matches played in March. The team secured a 2-1 victory over Iran and played out a 2-2 draw against Jordan.

The June friendlies present an important opportunity for head coach Eric Chelle to further assess his squad.
The matches are expected to provide a platform to introduce new players, give opportunities to talents from the NPFL and experiment with different tactical approaches.
Chelle had already handed debuts to several players during the March fixtures, with Emmanuel Fernandez emerging as one of the standout performers.

The Rangers centre-back impressed across both matches, scoring a goal and delivering solid defensive displays.
These upcoming fixtures will also help Chelle fine-tune his squad ahead of the 2027 AFCON, scheduled to run from September to November 2026.
It will be his first competitive tournament in charge of the Super Eagles since the 2025 AFCON third place match against Egypt.
