Stellenbosch FC are weighing up the possibility of signing Nigerian international Olisa Ndah on a free transfer. The centre-back is currently training with the club.
Ndah recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates after both parties reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
The decision is understood to have been influenced by the defender’s desire for regular playing time as he looks to reignite his career.
A move to Stellenbosch could offer the 28 year old the fresh start he needs.
The Cape Winelands side may provide more consistent minutes, reduced external pressure, and a tactical setup that suits his strengths.
Under head coach Gavin Hunt, Stellenbosch are known for a direct style of play, often utilizing long balls from defence or goalkeeper to quickly transition into attack an approach that could complement Ndah’s defensive attributes and distribution.

Should the deal materialise, Ndah would feature in two domestic competitions for the remainder of the season.
The club recently booked their place in the Round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup with a 2–1 victory over defending champions Kaizer Chiefs.
