Olisa Ndah’s father, Mr. Ndubuisi Ndah, has strongly dismissed reports linking the defender with a move to Al-Shomooa, describing the claims as false and deeply disturbing.
Reacting to the widespread reports, Mr. Ndah expressed shock at how the story gained traction across Africa and beyond, insisting there is no truth to it.
“I am surprised at the news that is being carried out in Africa and the world. I don’t know how they get the news about what they are saying, and it’s very disturbing that it has gone viral and it’s not true.
“I’m getting messages saying congratulations and all of that, and I have no idea of what they are talking about.”
The former Super Eagles defender believes the reports were driven by misinformation rather than facts.

“It’s very disheartening. I don’t understand because it’s just propaganda that somebody has decided to put onto the media.
“Everywhere it is flying like wi-fi. People are calling me and disturbing me, so it’s very bad. They should stop spreading that kind of news.
“If you don’t verify something, you don’t go to the media and just throw something there, and then people start thinking that it is true.”
He further reiterated that there has been no official communication regarding any transfer.
“This news is fake news, it’s not real. Up till now, there is nothing from anybody, and they are carrying this news up and down as if they know that something is going on.”

The rumours were also dismissed by the player’s agent, Mike Makaab, who confirmed that no move to Al-Shomooa has taken place.
Last week, several media reports claimed that Ndah had completed a transfer to the club, claims which have now been fully debunked.
Ndah recently had his contract terminated by Orlando Pirates after both parties mutually agreed to part ways.
The decision was reportedly influenced by the defender’s need for more playing time as he looks to revive his career.
