The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been officially confirmed following a ceremony held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Rio Ferdinand and Samantha Johnson conducted the live announcement of the groups.
2026 marks the most expanded World Cup in history, featuring 48 teams. The competition will include 12 groups, each containing four teams.
The ceremony opened with the presidents of the host nations—Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and U.S. President Donald Trump—formally selecting their teams for Groups A, B, and C.

The draw is done and the path is clear. 🌍
