Victor Osimhen delivered a masterclass performance on Friday, netting a hat-trick in Galatasaray’s dominant 4-0 victory over Antalyaspor at Rams Park.
The reigning Turkish champions were desperate to return to winning ways after a run of four consecutive draws across all competitions.
Osimhen, leading the attack, wasted no time making an impact, setting the tone for a dominant display.

The Nigerian broke the deadlock in the 30th minute, finishing clinically to give Galatasaray the lead.
Moments later, Álvaro Morata converted from the penalty spot to double their advantage. Just before halftime, Osimhen struck again, putting the hosts in complete control heading into the break.
Galatasaray carried their momentum into the second half, and it didn’t take long for Osimhen to complete his hat-trick.
In the 52nd minute, he latched onto a well-timed through ball from Yunus Akgün and fired a low shot past the goalkeeper, making it 4-0.
Subsequently, the forward was substituted in the 68th minute after his sensational performance, having secured his 26th goal of the season.
On the international front, the 26-year-old was named in Nigeria’s 23-man squad for this month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle will be banking on Osimhen’s firepower to boost qualification hopes.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s World Cup qualification campaign has been far from ideal.
The team languishes in 5th place on the standings behind Rwanda, South Africa, Benin Republic and Lesotho.
A winless start has left them playing catch-up, and with only three points from four games.
