Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has completed a move to Ethiopian side Wolwalo Adigrat University on a short-term deal.
The 29-year-old joins the club as a free agent after his contract with Sudanese giants Al Merrikh SC was recently terminated.

Wolwalo, currently struggling at the bottom of the Ethiopian Premier League with just nine points from 19 matches, are hoping Olorunleke’s arrival will help solidify their defense.
The team has conceded 24 goals this season, making defensive reinforcement a priority.
Olorunleke, who was part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, brings a wealth of experience to the club.
Speaking about his move, the former Al Merrikh goalkeeper expressed excitement about the opportunity.
“I have high hopes for my journey with Wolwalo,” Olorunleke said.
“While I received offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, I chose Wolwalo because of its professional management.”
“I am genuinely excited to be here; it’s a privilege to wear the yellow jersey and represent Wolwalo. I am dedicated to giving my best for the club and its fans.”
“The opportunity to work hard in Ethiopia and contribute to Wolwalo’s success is a significant source of motivation for me.”
