Nigerian forward Chinwendu Ihezuo continued her fine form in front of goal, finding the net as Pachuca thrashed Atlético San Luis 5-0 in a ruthless display in the Mexican Liga MX Femenil on Monday night.

Playing at the Estadio Miguel Hidalgo, Pachuca wasted no time asserting dominance, opening the scoring in just the first minute.

Ella Ryan Sanchez Stickel found herself in the right place inside the box, slotting home to set the tone for what would be a long night for the visitors.

Ihezuo, proving to be a constant menace in the box, doubled the lead just four minutes later.

Rising highest to meet a cross, the Super Falcons star powered a header past the helpless San Luis goalkeeper, giving Pachuca a comfortable 2-0 cushion before the dust had even settled.

Captain and club legend Veronica Corral then took over, delivering a stunning hat-trick that sealed the victory in emphatic fashion.

Corral struck her first in the 31st minute, finishing with precision to make it 3-0 before halftime. The Mexican international wasn’t done yet—she curled in a spectacular free-kick in the 51st minute to push the scoreline even further out of reach.

Her night of brilliance was completed in the 77th minute when she grabbed her third, putting the icing on the cake for Pachuca.

Ihezuo, having played a key role in the attacking onslaught, was substituted in the 59th minute, making way for Oke Ayooluwa.

Meanwhile, her compatriot Osinachi Ohale also saw action for 59 minutes before being replaced by Daniela Flores.

With this victory, Pachuca remains in second place on the Liga MX Femenil table with 13 points from five matches—just two points behind league leaders Club América.
