Victor Osimhen was the hero once again as Galatasaray edged Konyaspor 1-0 at the RAMS Park on Saturday night, with the Nigerian striker delivering the decisive goal from the penalty spot.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for the Turkish champions, netting three crucial goals in his last three games. Against Konyaspor, Osimhen led the line with confidence, spearheading Galatasaray’s attack in their 21st Super Lig match of the season.

The pivotal moment came in the 22nd minute when Osimhen calmly converted a penalty to give Galatasaray the lead.

The hosts dominated the first half and carried their advantage into the break, with control and composure.

In the second half, Osimhen thought he had doubled his tally in the 54th minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside.

He came close again in the 62nd minute, but his effort was denied by Konyaspor’s goalkeeper.
