Team Nigeria has been crowned the overall best country at the recently concluded ITF/CAT West & Central Africa Junior Tennis Championship in Lomé, Togo.
The Nigerian team excelled in both the individual and team events, solidifying their dominance in the region.

The tournament began with the individual event, where Nigerian players clinched three titles, setting the stage for a remarkable campaign.

In the team events that concluded on Sunday, January 19, 2025, Nigeria showcased exceptional talent and teamwork:
U-14 Boys and Girls Teams: Both teams emerged as champions with emphatic victories.
U-16 Boys Team: Secured second place.
U-16 Girls Team: Finished third.
Overall Standings
At the end of the championship, Nigeria topped the table with a massive 1,120 points, leaving:
Cameroon in second place with 865 points.
Benin Republic in third place with 610 points.
The championship featured nine countries, including Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Mali, Cameroon, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin Republic, and Nigeria.
