Veteran Super Falcons forward, Francisca Ordega has officially parted ways with Russian club CSKA Moscow following the expiration of her contract, marking the end of a memorable chapter in her career.
Since joining CSKA Moscow in 2021, Ordega has been a pivotal figure for the club, making 84 appearances, scoring 29 goals, and providing 20 assists.
Her contributions helped the team secure significant honors, including two Russian Cup titles, a Super Cup victory, and four Super League silver medals.
Speaking on her time at the club, Ordega expressed her gratitude:

A Decorated Career
Francisca Ordega has had a remarkable career spanning five continents.
Before joining CSKA Moscow, the 31-year-old featured for top clubs such as Piteå IF (Sweden), Washington Spirit (USA), Sydney FC (Australia), Atlético Madrid (Spain), and Levante UD (Spain).
On the international stage, Ordega has been a mainstay for Nigeria’s Super Falcons, representing her country at all levels.
She played in the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup before progressing to the senior team, where she has competed in three FIFA Women’s World Cups (2011, 2015, and 2019).
Her contributions to the Super Falcons include scoring a vital equalizer against Sweden in the 2015 World Cup and helping Nigeria secure four African Women’s Cup of Nations titles (2010, 2014, 2016, and 2018).
She was also part of the history-making squad that won the 2021 Turkish Women’s Cup.
