Nigerian forward Christantus Uche was instrumental in Getafe’s 1-0 victory over lower-division side Pontevedra on Wednesday night, assisting the decisive goal that secured their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.
Uche, who has now provided assists in consecutive matches, set up Alvaro Rodriguez for the winning goal just two minutes into the game.
His creativity and vision continue to make a significant impact for Getafe, as he also assisted in their 2-1 La Liga win against Las Palmas over the weekend.

While he didn’t find the back of the net, his influence was undeniable, delivering two key passes, including the decisive assist.
The 25-year-old also demonstrated his physicality and work rate, engaging in eight ground duels and winning three.
He excelled in aerial challenges, winning five of his seven duels, further emphasizing his presence in key areas of the pitch.
