Nigerian teenage striker, Kparobo Ariehri is set to begin a new chapter in his career, as he flies to Norway to finalize a move to Norwegian side Lillestrøm Sportsklubb.

Ariehri, dubbed Nigeria’s “Golden Boy,” arrived in Norway earlier today.

The talented 17-year-old forward is expected to train with Lillestrøm SK until he officially signs his contract in January.

The club confirmed that the Beyond Limits FA product will join their ranks in the new year.

Ariehri has been hailed as one of Nigeria’s brightest young prospects, having recently made a name for himself at the WAFU B U20 Championships in Togo.

He played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s victory over Ghana in the final, scoring twice to secure a 2-1 win, as the Flying Eagles clinched back-to-back WAFU B titles.

His standout performances earned him Most Valuable Player award, finishing with three goals to his name.

Ariehri also shone at the Gothia Cup in Sweden, netting eight goals to propel Beyond Limits FA to the semi-finals, where they narrowly lost to Sporting Lagos.

The young forward’s impressive form has sparked excitement about his potential, with many hoping the Nigerian FA will consider integrating promising talents like Ariehri into the national team setup, following the example of Spain’s Lamine Yamal.

Ariehri’s European adventure is one to watch, as the “Golden Boy” aims to make his mark at Lillestrøm SK and continue his rise in the world of football.
