Fulham left it late in the London derby against Brentford, snatching maximum points with two stoppage time goals despite trailing for majority of the game, on Monday night.
Substitute, Harry Wilson lite up Craven Cottage with his goals in the 92nd and 97th minutes to rescue Fulham from the cusp of defeat and deal Brentford a hard blow.
The visitors had shot ahead, before the hour mark, through Vitaly Janelt (24′) and held on to their led.
Marco Silva’s side threw everything they had at their opponents, but the Bees wouldn’t bulge.
On the night, the Cottagers didn’t pick up steam early, and the likes of Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi started slowly.
By the second half, Silva had poured all he had, using up his allotted five subs by the 82nd minute.
His desperation would eventually pay off and Wilson proved the super sub.
The victory ended Fulham’s three-game losing streak against Brentford, and moved them to ninth in the Premier League standings.
