Nigerian forward, Tolu Arokodare has won KRC Genk’s ‘Goal of the Month’ award for October following a breathtaking strike against Gent.

In a poll led by the fans, Arokodare’s goal was voted the standout for his remarkable effort in Genk’s 2-0 victory over their league rivals.

In the win over Gent, after missing a few early chances, Arokodare finally found his mark with a sharp, clinical finish.

The goal came after Christopher Bonsu-Baah raced down the left wing and sent in a perfectly timed cross, which Arokodare met with precision, firing a half-volley into the net to break the deadlock.

Arokodare has been a force this season, netting eight goals and providing one assist in 12 league games.
