Algerian defender Imane Chebel, recalling her previous encounter with Nigeria during the 2019 Olympic qualifiers, is eager for another opportunity to face the Super Falcons.

Chebel noted that with limited games available, she is always grateful for a chance to represent her country.

“We played against Nigeria for the Olympic qualifiers in 2019. I think it’s a growing national team, and then they brought in good staff, so we’re growing and bringing more players each year.”
