Osimhen Slips In Transfer Valuation, Haaland and Vinicius Continue to Dominate Global Rankings

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen tops the list of players whose transfer valuations have drastically decreased.

According to Transfermarkt, Osimhen’s value took a significant hit following his loan move to Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

The Nigeria international joined Galatasaray on loan after a protracted move to Chelsea and Al Hilal fell through.

The 25-year-old began 2024 with a valuation of €110 million but saw a €10 million drop in Serie A’s June update.

Osimhen’s valuation decline was influenced by Napoli’s desire to secure a permanent sale, reportedly seeking around €75 million for the reigning African Footballer of the Year.

French forward, Randal Kolo Muani ranks second behind Osimhen, with a €30 million reduction in his value. Initially valued at €70 million, his market worth has been affected by limited playing time at PSG this season.

Other players who saw a €25 million drop in their value this year include Bayern Munich stars Kingsley Coman and Joshua Kimmich.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior top the list of the most valuable players in the world, both currently valued at €200 million.
