Rasheedat Ajibade Doubtful For Algeria Friendlies

Atletico Madrid Feminine player and Super Falcons captain, Rasheeat Ajibade is looking unlikely to feature in the double-header friendly games against Algeria.

The 24-year-old forward was among the 4 international based players invited to the camp for the friendlies.

Others invited are Paris FC goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, UDG Tenerife forward, Gift Monday, Galatasaray’s Oluwatosin Demehin and Hapoel Katamon’s Esther Onyenezide.

Before the training kicked off on Wednesday, Rasheedat Ajibade was spotted wrapping bandages around her right shoulder. She confirmed why that happened in an interview with Brila.net.

“I had a minor shoulder dislocation in my last game before the international break. However, I have been called up and have respond and want to play for my country regardless.”

Super Falcons held their first training at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena Stadium, Onikan, Lagos on Wednesday and have held another intense one on Thursday morning.

The first leg of the friendly fixture will be played at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun state, while the return fixture will be take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, Lagos.
