Edo Queens, WAFU B Champions, have been placed in Group B of the CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024.
The official draw was conducted on Friday, October 18, at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco.
The fourth edition of Africa’s top women’s club competition will take place between November 9 and 23, 2024, featuring eight teams.
These include champions from CAF’s six zonal regions, along with tournament hosts AS FAR and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.
Edo Queens, making their debut in the tournament, will face tough competition in Group B, which includes fellow debutants Tutankhamun from Egypt, Ethiopia’s CBE FC, and the reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
The champions of the tournament will receive a prize of USD 400,000, while the runners-up will take home USD 250,000.
