Nigerian CB, Ashleigh Plumptre marked her second appearance for Al-Ittihad in style, contributing a goal and three assists in the team’s 13-1 demolition of Jeddah in the Round of 16 Cup math, on Saturday.
The Super Falcons defender recently returned to action after a seven-month injury layoff.

Al-Ittihad’s Seba Tawfiq netted a brace, Lili Iskandar and Leticia Nunes both bagged hat-tricks, and Lana Abdulrazak also notched a hat-trick in the dominant win.
Raneem Al-Sharif and Fatimah Mansour added further goals to complete the rout, with Abla Bensenouci scoring Jeddah’s only goal in the 65th minute.
Plumptre is expected to be part of Nigeria’s squad under coach Justine Madugu as they prepare to face Algeria in Lagos during the next international window.
