Nigerian forward, Maryan Ohadiwe made a stunning return to action in the Latvian league, helping RFS to a massive 10-0 victory over Iecava.
Fresh off their Latvia Women’s Cup triumph, Ohadiwe delivered an explosive performance, scoring a hat-trick to lead her team to victory.
The former Edo Queens star opened the scoring early, and later added two more goals to bring her season tally to eight.
Ohadiwe’s incredible display was complemented by teammates Natalia Radziievska and Anastasia Polihovich, who each netted three goals as well.
Alina Ansone completed the scoring for RFS, rounding off the rout in the final moments.
In her debut season in the Latvian women’s league, Ohadiwe has quickly become a key figure for RFS.
RFS remain second in the standings with 40 points, trailing leaders Riga FC by six points.
RFS will next face Olaine on October 10, 2024, as they aim to close the gap at the top of the table.
