Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku rates his team’s chances high in the CAF Women’s Champions League, following their success in the WAFU B competition.
In an interview with CAFOnline.com, Aduku shared the team’s journey to qualification and their goals for the prestigious tournament.
“It was a wonderful competition. It was our first time participating, and we approached it like we were playing cup finals in every match.”
Edo Queens won all their games, including a 3-0 victory in the final against the Republic of Benin.
With the Champions League fast approaching, Aduku stated that the team is leaving nothing to chance.
“Our preparations have already started since the day we qualified. It’s going to be tough, but just as we succeeded in WAFU B, we plan to take it one game at a time and push hard to bring home the trophy.”
