Super Eagles midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has expressed the team’s determination to secure all six points in their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying double-header against Libya.

The Super Eagles is focused on getting the job done as they aim to book their spot in the 2025 AFCON tournament.

Nigeria began their qualification campaign with a strong 3-0 victory over Benin Republic, followed by a goalless draw against Rwanda.

Augustine Eguavoen, is set to face Libya in the first leg of their double-header on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

“We’re aiming for six points, that’s our minimum target because with those points, we’ll secure our place at AFCON,” said Yusuf.

The match in Uyo will kick off at 5:00 p.m. local time, with Nigeria currently topping Group D with four points.

Libya, on the other hand, sits at the bottom of the group with just one point.

Following the Uyo clash, the Super Eagles will travel to Libya, for the reverse fixture scheduled four days later.
