Super Eagles head Coach, Augustine Eguavoen has recalled Bright Osayi-Samuel and Chidera Ejuke for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.
Ejuke returns to the squad after nearly two years absence, and the forward has been in outstanding form for Sevilla this season, topping the charts for most completed dribbles in Europe’s top five leagues so far.
Osayi-Samuel also returns after missing the September fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
However, the duo of Olisa Ndah and Victor Osimhen miss out on the squad due to injuries.
Super Eagles will host the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, on October 11.
Four days later, the teams clash at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium, 19 kilometers from Benghazi, on October 15.
All players are expected to report to camp in Uyo by Monday, October 7.
