The Super Eagles winger has been without a club since leaving Sivasspor at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, Shehu Abdullah has not played competitive football since 2023 after he left Levski Sofia.

Abdullahi, 31, had previously played for Pillars joining them in 2012 as a free agent.

Though the two national team players have been celebrated for their decision to return to the Nigerian league, it’s unclear if both were registered for the new season – being that the window closed last month.
