Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface as a possible transfer target next summer transfer.

Reports suggest that the Premier League club has identified the forward as a key target for next season.

According to TBR Football, Chelsea scouts have been monitoring the 23-year-old’s performances in recent weeks.

Despite the forms of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, manager Enzo Maresca is still looking to bolster the team’s attacking options.

Chelsea previously failed to secure the signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli during the last transfer window, leaving a gap in the squad for a natural No. 9.

Boniface, who has excelled at Leverkusen over the past 14 months, could potentially fill that role.

The striker, formerly of Union Saint-Gilloise, is currently valued at €60 million and is under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028.

This season, he has already scored four goals and provided one assist in six appearances for Die Werkself across all competitions.
