Former Bayelsa Queens forward, Juliet Sunday scored for Hapoel Beer Sheva in their Israeli women’s top-flight match but her late effort wasn’t enough to prevent a 2-1 defeat against Ramat Hasharon.
Beer Sheva had fallen 2-0 after goals from Alicia Pallister and Avrava Shahaf.
Sunday scored in stoppage time, her second goal in as many matches since joining the club.
In another match, Nigerian player Olaiya Barakat played the full 90 minutes for Tel Aviv in their goalless draw against Katamon.
Juliet Sunday had after leaving NWSL Bayelsa Queens, she played for Gintra FC in Lithuania before moving to Israel.
