A Superb Show! Chidera Ejuke Scores Winner As 10-man Sevilla Survive Late Scare Against Valladolid

Chidera Ejuke came off the bench to score what proved the winning goal for Sevilla as they bounced back to winning ways in La Liga.

Ejuke was a second half substitute (62′) in Tuesday’s match against Valladolid, and the winger eventually registered his first goal of the season, for his new side.

The summer signing has made six appearances for Sevilla since joining them as a free agent, and though his performances have impressed mostly, the side has turned out inconsistent results.

Last weekend, Sevilla lost 2-1 to Alaves, following a run of one win, two draws and a defeat in their previous results.

Ejuke’s 85th minute winner sealed Sevilla’s second win in seven matches and it’ll come as a relief for Manager, Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta – he watched nervously from his technical area as the team closed out the game with 10 men.
