Nigeria is set to face Libya in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Matchday 4 encounter at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium.
Libya has chosen this venue to host Group D leaders Nigeria in the upcoming clash in October.
Located in Benina, approximately 19 kilometres from Benghazi, the stadium, formerly known as Hugo Chávez Stadium, has a capacity of 10,000 and features artificial turf.
Before the match in Benina, Nigeria will host Libya in Uyo on Friday, October 11, for the first leg clash with the match scheduled to kick off at 5 PM Nigerian time.
The return match in Benina will take place on Tuesday, October 15, starting at 8 PM Nigerian time.
Currently, the three-time African champions top the group with four points, having secured a convincing 3-0 victory over the Benin Republic in Uyo on Matchday 1, followed by a scoreless draw against Rwanda’s Amavubi in Kigali on Matchday 2.
Meanwhile, Libya is at the bottom of the group and will be eager to challenge the Super Eagles to increase their hope of qualifying.
