Leicester City Can’t Buy A Win, but Confident Ndidi Predicts Foxes Will Break Even

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi remains optimistic despite the club’s winless start to the 2024/25 Premier League season.

The Foxes are yet to register a win after four games, following a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

 

 

Steve Cooper’s Leicester side were in driving seat against Palace, racing to a two-goal lead early in the second half, with Ndidi providing assists for both goals.

However, Crystal Palace mounted a comeback, scoring twice to earn a share of the points.

 

 

Reflecting on the result, Ndidi expressed his frustration.

 

 

“It was very disappointing because we know we almost had it, so it was really disappointing. The result does not reflect on the performance.”

 

 

He added that, “This is the Premier League, and anything can happen at any moment. You could see the fight Crystal Palace had and what they were trying to do in the game. We actually did brilliantly to stay in the game after the first goal they scored.”

 

 

“If we just get one win, I know we’re going to fly. There’s so much confidence and positivity with the things we did in the game,” Ndidi concluded.

 

 

Leicester City’s next opportunity to break their winless streak will come in their upcoming clash against Everton.
