Nigerian midfielder, Joe Aribo was an unused substitute on Saturday as Southampton suffered a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United in their Premier League clash at St Mary’s Stadium.

Marcus Rashford doubled the lead before halftime, and Southampton’s chances worsened when captain Jack Stephens was shown a straight red card for a foul on Alejandro Garnacho.
Garnacho sealed the win for United with a late goal in stoppage time.
This is the team’s fourth premier league match and fourth straight losses, conceding 8 goals and scoring one following their return from a one year long relegation.
The English side will continue their quest for a point as they face fellow newly promoted team, Ipswich town who went at loggerheads with Brighton in a goalless draw on Saturday and has 2 points on the table.
Fellow Nigerians Paul Onuachu and Samuel Edozie were not included in the squad by Southampton manager Russell Martin.
