Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen trained with his new team, Galatasaray, for the first time on Thursday after returning from international duty.
The Nigerian forward signed with the Turkish Super Lig champions last week but had traveled home for Nigeria’s international fixtures.
Osimhen played a key role in Nigeria’s recent matches, coming off the bench in both games.
He scored in the Super Eagles’ victory over Benin Republic and delivered a strong performance during the draw against Rwanda in Kigali.
The 25 year-old Nigerian international joined Galatasaray after transfer moves to Saudi Arabia and Chelsea fell through.
He has now resumed training with his new teammates and expressed his excitement to be part of the squad.
In training, Osimhen was seen alongside former Napoli teammate Dries Mertens.
The forward is expected to make his debut on Saturday in Galatasaray’s league clash against Rizespor.
