El Kanemi Warriors gaffer, Aliyu Zubairu has been appointed to take charge of the Men’s U20 NT, Flying Eagles.

The appointment was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation, Tuesday , following the recommendation of Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

Zubairu, who recently guided El-Kanemi Warriors to the President Federation Cup against Abia Warriors FC in Lagos, will assume his new role immediately.

His first priority will be to assemble and prepare a team for the WAFU-B U20 Championship, set to take place in October/November in Togo.

This tournament will determine the zone’s representative for next year’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
