Beyond Limits Football Academy, recently promoted from the Nigeria National League (NNL), will not participate in the 2024/2025 NPFL season.
NPFL board made this decision due to concerns about dual ownership, as both Beyond Limits and Remo Stars share the same owner.
This situation breaches Rule B11.4 of the NPFL Framework and Rules, which prohibits such conflicts of interest.
As a result, Beyond Limits’ slot in the league has been reassigned to Heartland FC.
Heartland, who were relegated last season, met the NPFL’s criteria and was the only club interested in filling the vacancy.
