French Ligue 1 side, Lille OSC has officially signed Nigerian striker Adeshina Ayodele from Beyond Limits Football Academy.
The 18-year-old has committed to a five-year contract with the club and will initially join the Pro 2 group.
Ayodele recently made headlines by winning the Viareggio Cup in Italy, where he impressed by scoring five goals in seven matches.
“I am very happy to join LOSC and to be part of the Lille family,” Ayodele said in a statement. “LOSC is for me one of the best clubs in France, so I am delighted to be here.
“I would like to thank all my coaches and teammates who have crossed my path, especially in Nigeria, and also thank LOSC.”
Ayodele follows in the footsteps of Victor Osimhen, Vincent Enyeama and Peter Odemwingie, becoming the latest in a line of Nigerians to play for Lille.
