Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has made it clear that the Nigerian striker will not be forced out of Napoli and will only leave the club on his terms.

In a statement released on Monday, Calenda stated that he would not be pressured into accepting an offer from Saudi Arabia.

This statement comes in response to recent reports that Saudi club Al-Ahli has made a €70 million proposal to Napoli for Osimhen.

However, Calenda’s comments suggest that a move to Saudi Arabia is off the table.

“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with a contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction,” Calenda’s statement reads.

“He made history, and when there were major offers (also this year), we always accepted the club’s decisions. As I said, he is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets.”

Calenda also highlighted Osimhen’s recent achievements, noting that he was named African Footballer of the Year and finished eighth in the Ballon d’Or voting.

“Victor still has so much to do in Europe,” he added. “There is a need for respect and balance.”

Osimhen has been linked with top European clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.
