Sevilla’s Ejuke and Iheanacho Set for Return Against Villarreal

Sevilla manager García Pimienta has confirmed that Nigerian forwards, Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho will be available for their second league match of the season against Villarreal.

Both Ejuke and Iheanacho missed Sevilla’s 2-2 draw with Las Palmas last weekend for different reasons.

Ejuke was left out due to tactical decisions, despite his strong performances in preseason and impressive training sessions.

Pimienta reassured fans, stating, “Ejuke is doing very well. He didn’t play last time due to our decision, but he will help the team if needed tomorrow.”

Iheanacho missed the opener due to late registration issues.

The former Leicester City is now set to make his La Liga debut.

The duo will be expected to be in action in the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Friday.
