Turkish Super Lig club, Trabzonspor has not given up hope of signing Tolu Arokodare from KRC Genk this summer.
Trabzonspor initially pursued the striker but withdrew from negotiations after Genk refused to lower their asking price.
It is understood that Genk is seeking a fee of around €8.5 million for Arokodare, while Trabzonspor values the player at approximately €5 million.
In addition, the forward’s substantial salary demand of $2.5 million per year has posed a significant challenge for the Turkish side.
However, Trabzonspor has now returned to the negotiating table with a revised offer.
Reports indicate that the former Turkish champions are eager to finalize the deal as soon as possible, allowing them to move forward with negotiating personal terms.
Arokodare joined Genk last summer and has four goals in five game this season.
