Sunshine Stars will play their 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) home games at Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode, and it’ll be their temporary ground for the new season.

The Akure-based club was forced to move after their regular home, Akure Township Stadium, failed to meet the league’s standards.

The team has been busy in the transfer market, bringing in several new signings as they prepare to challenge in the upcoming campaign.

The Owena Waves will host Bayelsa United in their opening fixture of the season at their new venue on August 31.

Sunshine Stars are also focused on maintaining competitive form after finishing the previous season in a mid-table position.
