Injury Free! Moses Simon Celebrates Return for Lengthy Injury Spell
74
Nigerian winger, Moses Simon returned to active football over the weekend, with Nantes, following a lengthy injury absence.
The 28 year-old suffered a fractured fibula in March, sidelining him for three months and causing him to miss several key matches, including Nigeria’s World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic in June.
Following a successful rehabilitation, Simon regained full fitness and made his return in FC Nantes’ opening game of the season against Toulouse, where he played for 75 minutes.
The winger shared his joy with a social media post:
“Sunday marked my return to Ligue 1 with FC Nantes.
“It was the perfect way to feel the field again after my injury. A big thank you to all for your support.”
