Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has expressed his intent to remain at KRC Genk, despite ongoing transfer rumors linking him with a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.
Arokodare, who has netted four goals this season, is the subject of interest from Trabzonspor.
However, negotiations reportedly stalled after the player demanded a €2 million annual salary, while Genk set a €10 million transfer fee.
Addressing the speculation, Arokodare told Het Laatste Nieuws, “I have a contract with Genk and am focused on this club, not on rumours. Where do I see my future? I’m not clairvoyant. No idea, man.”
Genk signed the 22 year-old Nigerian striker last summer as a replacement for Paul Onuachu.
