KRC Genk’s Nigerian forward, Tolu Arokodare maintained his impressive start to the season with two goals in a thrilling 4-3 away victory against Beerschot on matchday 4 of the Belgian Pro League on Saturday.
Arokodare, who has now scored in three consecutive league matches this season, increased his tally to four goals in four games.
Genk, on a two-game winning streak, initially fell behind in the 7th minute but equalized in the 15th.
Arokodare then gave them a 2-1 lead in the 30th minute and added his second goal in the 64th minute, following a setup from compatriot Yira Sor, making it 4-2.
Sor also contributed with an assist before being substituted in the 69th minute, while the goal hero was replaced in the 90th minute.
