Former Turkish Champions, Trabzonspor have renewed their efforts to sign Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu from Southampton.
The Turkish club is keen to secure the striker permanently after his successful loan spell last season.
Onuachu scored 17 goals and provided four assists during his time at Trabzonspor, making him the club’s top transfer target.
Trabzonspor remain determined to bring him back amid setbacks in negotiations with Southampton who have set a firm price of €10 million for the 29-year old, whose contract is valid till June 20.
The English team rejected previous offers from Trabzonspor, including a €7 million bid plus €2 million in add-ons.
Trabzonspor have reportedly made a new offer involving €7 million and two players, Umut Bozok and Taxiarchis Fountas, hoping to sway Southampton.
