Former Nigerian International, Mutiu Adepoju has made it clear that he’s indifferent to who takes the reins as the next Super Eagles coach, as long as they can turn the team’s fortunes around.

Adepoju expressed that his primary concern is the success of the team, not whether the new Super Eagles manager is local or foreign.

“At the moment, I just don’t care who they are going to bring, whether foreign or indigenous coaches. Because at the time when I believe it was right, I supported having an indigenous coach, Finidi was employed.” Adepoju stated.

He emphasized that he’s no longer focused on advocating for a specific type of coach.

“At this junction, I don’t want to say this is what should be done. I believe anyone that’ll be brought, as long as the person is going to change the way things are at the moment, I don’t care.” he added.

His comments reflect a growing sentiment among fans and former players alike, who are eager to see the Super Eagles back on a winning path, regardless of who leads the charge.
